The hottest Bollywood couple of the moment is undoubtedly Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai.
While they have been heaped with praise for their performances in their latest film Guru, the surprise announcement of their engagement on Sunday, January 14 in Mumbai is taking centre stage.
According to media reports, Bachchan, 30, proposed to the 33-year-old former Miss World and fellow actor Rai, after the premiere of Guru in New York last week. No wedding date has been set yet, but talk is that only close relatives will be called for the eagerly awaited event. However, the post ceremonial celebrations could be attended by up to 6 000 people.
Certainly, a royal affair, suitable for the prince and princess of Bollywood.
